Analysis: Nelson missed three MLS contests before completing his rehabilitation from an injury he suffered on May 3. He'll likely return to action as a substitute and will then remain in contention with Owen Wolff and Jon Gallagher. In that case, Nelson should have decent chances to increase his count of two goals, which currently ranks third on the squad.

Analysis: Nelson has struggled to stay healthy in recent weeks and could now be sidelined for longer if he suffered a setback. However, it remains to be seen if he'll be ready to play in upcoming matches. He has been a decent attacking asset when available, scoring two goals from seven shots (two on goal) in the current MLS season. Jon Gallagher took his place Sunday and should continue to feature on the left wing until Nelson is fully fit.

Analysis: Nelson was questionable for this game after missing the previous league contest, but he managed to recover from his leg issue in time to see meaningful action. He'll likely play on the left wing, causing Joseph Rosales to move to a central position. Nelson has been rather active in offensive tasks this year but remains with one goal in seven appearances prior to this game.
Questionable for Wednesday
Nelson is doubtful due to a lower leg injury prior to the midweek meeting with San Jose Earthquakes.
Analysis: Nelson is at risk of being excluded from upcoming contests following a 57-minute appearance in the last MLS game against Toronto. If the issue is serious enough for Nelson to be sidelined, Joseph Rosales will likely move to the left wing, with another player such as Christian Ramirez completing the starting lineup.
